    I can't say enough good things about this place. Great food... Great family owned and run. Always got fresh food enough right before close, which I do frequently thanks to late work schedule.
    I like it so much I get double meat and take some home!
    Also available for delivery thru various services

    So my friend ordered Shawarma on the Run for our game night last night through Door Dash, only the driver never showed up to pick up the order! The owner of SotR called her and explained the situation, apologized, saying this particular Door Dash driver has done this before and the owner then offered to drive it across the CCC from Gretna to us Uptown. When he arrived, we were going to give him a big tip to say thanks for taking ownership of this issue, and he refused to accept it! That is some amazing care for your customers.

    And the food was freakin' delicious to boot!! Smooth creamy amazing hummus, amazing warm (!) pita, and awesome shawarma plates. Such a pleasant surprise for what could have been a disaster in hangry company! Kudos!

    My first day in the area and i was craving for mediterranean food. After a little search i saw this restaurant and decided to order. To be honest i was ready to have just "just okay" food. But i am so happy that i am wrong now :)
    Even though driver was late the food was still warm.  Thank you for your great service. Now i know where to go when i'm hungry and lazy to cook :)

    Very good shawarma! I recently spent some time in Israel, and developed a love for shawarma. This place satisfies the craving. I had the chicken shawarma wrap, which was stuffed with chicken, pickle and cheese. The entree was plenty of food for me. If you like any Mediterranean food, you will love this place. Very authentic. The staff is very friendly as well.
